JCL's New Look: Web Design Process
The Journal of Constitutional Law (JCL) began its web re-design process in the summer of 2014. Online Managing Editor, Karen Wiswall, had a vision for expanding JCL's digital presence and creating a dynamic online space for sharing scholarly work, promoting constitutional discourse, and developing an online community.
Karen began to draw wire frames for JCL's new site in the fall of 2014. Her goal was to create a single webpage for the print Journal and JCL Online. Managing Editor, Kayla Morrow, supported Karen's vision by helping to build the macro structure for the website and by creating a web interface that was user-friendly, intuitive, and aesthetically appealing. Members of the Volume 18 Board also contributed to these efforts by adding content to each page and by building interactive mastheads. JCL's webpage was published on March 29, 2015.
