Thank you to all who attended the JCL Symposium!
The Journal of Constitutional Law is excited to host their annual symposium on Friday, January 22, 2016. This year, the Symposium is titled: “Race, Crime, and the Constitution Revisited.” First explored by the Journal in 2001, the Symposium will revisit the highly important and topical issues of the selective enforcement of law that continue to plague society. The Symposium will focus specifically on our city of Philadelphia and host speakers such as 2015 Mayoral Candidate Douglas Oliver and retired Deputy Commissioner of the Philadelphia Police Department Kevin Bethel. The Symposium will cover an array of topics including policing methods, school discipline, and civil forfeiture. Admission to the Symposium is free of charge and CLE credits will be offered. We invite all alumni to join us for the 2016 Symposium.
